Introduction

In this episode, we help you understand how templates can be used in eramba.

Policies

You can go to the policy section of our templates and review what policies we have. Policies will often time be connected to internal controls because these policies dictate how these controls should be performed.

When you click on a Policy the content of the document will be displayed in a modal window, you can click on download and a CSV file will be downloaded to your computer.

This CSV file is formatted to be imported to eramba (in the policy module). Bear in mind that the CSV file will have missing columns that you must adjust to fit your needs, the file won't upload automatically.

You can download multiple policies at once if you use the checkboxes on the left, the CSV will include one row for every policy you selected.

You must understand how the Policy module works in eramba and how CSV imports work to adjust the template.

Internal Controls

You can download internal controls pretty much the same way you can download Policies. The relationship between these two is the same, just the other way around.

The CSV imports won't work automatically, you will need to adjust some data in there. Please review the Internal Control and CSV Import documentation before attempting to implement them into your eramba deployment.

Compliance

We have a selection of popular compliance requirements under the Compliance section. When you select your preferred compliance package we will show Policies and Internal Controls that in theory, meet the requirements of the package.

You can click on Policies and Internal Controls, and a window will show their content as explained before you can download them as CSV files ready to be imported to eramba. 

Questionnaires

You can download our template questionnaires from the template section, they will fit automatically on the Online Assessment module. As usual with any other template, we strongly advise you to adjust them to fit your needs.
