Please refer to the Access Management Course for detailed instructions on how connectors (SAML, LDAP, Google Auth) are created.
The key concepts and activities are:
-
Set up an admin account and use it to log in initially.
-
Create a group for the GRC department.
-
Create a user account for yourself with admin privileges.
-
Create groups for other departments (e.g. IT, HR, Finance) that will use the software.
-
Assign user accounts to the appropriate groups to control what data they can access and what actions they can perform.
-
Consider creating a "dummy" account for testing purposes.
-
If using remote authentication (e.g. SAML, LDAP), set up the necessary connectors and configure the user accounts accordingly.
